Friday’s most scandalous night "Hollywood Gossip" Returns this Friday at the infamous Rouge. Whether your sequined or skank, fashionista or fashion wanker…… Whether Diamonds are your best friend or your still rocking cubic zirconias……..If you're yet to make it, Fake it at Hollywood…….
Headlining this scandalous event is Beni.
BENI's upbringing in the world of techno was harsh and goes some way to explaining the physical and metaphysical place he finds himself in today. From a formative age he was led astray by a group of gypsy ravers otherwise known as The Bang Gang Deejays, and his education at the school of beats, rhymes and life saw long days and looooooonger nights, spent in clubs from Paris to Penrith.
Following on from The Bang Gang's worldwide uprising, BENI went onto to release a couple of bonafied #1's in Cameroon and Moldova under the Riot In Belgium guise. The Acid Never Lies and La Musique also became staples in any self-respecting DJ's treasured box, including the musical catacombs of 2 Many DJ's, Tiga, Felix Da Housecat, Boys Noize and Tiesto.
Now though, the sun has set on the Riot In Belgium, and BENI is going solo with Paris-based label Kitsune, with his virgin solo voyage, My Love Sees You creating a stir on dancefloors worldwide and appearing on numerous dance comps across the globe. Under the BENI guise he has already remixed the likes of Tiga, Digitalism, Fischerspooner, Etienne De Crecy, In Flagranti, La Roux and Sneaky Sound System, and now the onslaught of the incredible original dancefloor kinghits begins!
The Christian Luke brand epitomises quality, sophistication and cutting edge beats set to have any dance floor convulsing. At the tender age of 25, Christian has already taken the dance music industry by assault landing him the respect of clubbers and promoters alike over an impressive array of dance genres, globally.
Having racked up a mere 4 years of production experience, Christian has remixed for some of the worlds biggest names - including Dirty South, Kurd Maverick, Mark Brown & Juan Kidd, StoneBridge, Carl Kennedy, Tommy Trash, Kaz James & Macy Gray, Warp Brothers (D.O.N.S.) & Hook n Sling.
This rising star has been snapped up by Vicious for an exclusive recording agreement across his next 4 singles. Christian is also currently co-producing alongside Paul Mac on The Potbelleez highly anticipated 2nd album.
Christian hit the Number 1 spot on the ARIA Club chart in 2008, with his remix of Hook n Sling's "The Best Thing". It featured on Vicious Cuts 2008, along with 3 other Christian colabs including “I Am Ready” Pitch Dark & Sgt Slick, “You Don’t Know” StoneBridge and “You Are” by Mic Newman.
Later in 2008 another Christian Luke remix catapulted to the Number 1 position … “Blue Monday” Kurd Maverick stayed put for 8 solid weeks! Not only dominating the Chart but also impressing the likes of Pete Tong who played the remix on his BBC Radio 1 show.
In 2009 Christian had a string of ARIA Club Chart hits including “Now You’re Gone” Juan Kidd & Felix Baumgarter which hit the Number 1 spot, “Can’t Hold Back” Kaz James feat. Macy Gray topping at 3 and “Need Me To Stay” by Tommy Trash feat. Mr Wilson which peaked at Number 2.
Two of Christian’s remixes with Lorne Padman (Vicious), “Blue Monday” Kurd Maverick and “The Secret (For You)” Peroxide featured on the Ministry of Sound Annual 2009. His colabs also featured on Neon Essential 2009, Neon Essential Vol. 2, and Vicious Cuts 2009.
In 2010 Christian has teamed up with one of the world's finest names in dance music, Sonique to create “Givin’ It Up”. And look out for his latest … a killer reboot of “David” by Gus Gus.
Not restricting himself to a single genre of house music, Christian is able to capture and inspire listeners and take them on a journey deep into his musical mind.
